Meet Craig
A Personal Journey
I was born and raised in Nova Scotia, the first in my immediate family to graduate from high school and pursue higher education. From an early age, I felt a drive to explore opportunities beyond what was familiar. Right out of high school, I received a bursary to attend an IT college, but quickly realized the path wasn’t right for me. I shifted my focus to business and eventually earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
Education has always been a foundation, but learning for me never stopped in the classroom. Over the years, I’ve built on my degree with certificates and certifications in areas such as Event Planning, Human Resources, Conflict Management, Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion, and Project Management. Each step added tools and perspectives that have shaped the way I approach challenges and opportunities in both work and life.
Language and communication have also been important to me. Before 2020, I took courses at Université Sainte-Anne to strengthen my conversational French. For me, the ability to connect across cultures and communities is part of understanding the world and deepening relationships, both personally and professionally.
Through every decision and turn in my journey, I’ve sought paths that challenge me and help me grow. I’ve learned to listen, to adapt, and to take initiative when something matters. That mindset has guided me in my career and my life, helping me focus on what’s possible rather than what’s familiar.
Every experience, from early education to ongoing learning, has shaped who I am today. I carry those lessons forward as I continue to explore, create, and contribute in meaningful ways—always looking for the next opportunity to grow and make a difference.
